For sale - my lovely 2001 Ford Puma Black edition. It's a special edition that has air conditioning, leather sports seats, multi-spoke 15 inch alloys and heated windscreen (great in winter and icy conditions) among other options.The good points: 11 months MOT, 3 months tax, car in very good nick and with well below average miles - it's just ticked over to 69,000. Full service history, plenty of service bills and suchlike, and a fresh clutch. Car has had its necessary cambelt change, too.The bad points: the flash six CD player is jammed and won't play. Likely a cheap fix, but have left it alone as you may want to fit your own new head unit. Some wear on side of driver's seat (not visible once you're sat in it) and there's some minor rust on the rear driver's side arch (pic below). Cosmetic only, check any Puma forum, owner's club etc and you'll see this is a common issue.It's great fun to drive, with the 123bhp 1.7-litre engine providing ample power while returning 40mpg. Pretty practical thing, too, with four seats and an ample boot. BREAKING 1998 1.7 VCT FORD PUMA (350GBP)
Hi here is a 1998 ford puma red 91k air con front heated screen PAS. I bought this car with a broken cambelt the cylinder head has 4 bent valves i think. The bottom end seems pretty solid. The body work is not bad at all' slight rust round the arches scratch on front bumper and small dent in drivers doorThe interior is in quite good condition the drivers seat bolster is torn but that's about it I have most parts with i except the head I have seen and driven this car before it is a local car bought new locally. This car has been extremely well looked after and much loved, it has low miles for its age (86k) and runs very well and comes with PSH. It has recently had a new clutch and thermostat fittedand all arches and under body have been wax oil sealed. It is very clean inside and out and has recently professionally valeted and the seats wet vaxed, i'd be suprised to find one of same age in such good condition.
