FORD RACING PUMA

If you like the Puma you will just love the new Racing Puma launched by Ford. The Racing Puma is based on the ST160 concept car.

This Tickford built edition to the Puma family was available for £23,000. 1000 were scheduled to be built but only 500 were eventually completed. Second hand models can now be purchased for as little as £6,000, however expect to pay nearer £10,000 for a mint example. The Racing Puma was only available in the UK.

The new Racing Puma packs a punch with an uprated 1.7 litre Zetec SE engine which pumps out 160 horses. To provide a more ground hugging experience the car has a wider track and wears uprated springs, dampers and anti-roll bars.

To enhance the looks, a more aggressive stance is provided with wider front and rear arches, a new front splitter and a set of arch filling 17in multi-spoke alloys which along with the uprated suspension provides that all important touring car look.
